Aberchirder itself is a centre for walking and cycling. Cleanhill Wood forms the hub of a set of paths and quiet country roads which suit walkers and cyclists of all ages, and often offer stunning views, particularly to the Grampian Mountains to the southwest.
The Deveron valley around Marnoch also provides scenic views to be enjoyed by cyclists, walkers and motorists.
Other fitness and leisure activities are available at a nearby horse riding establishment, while good fishing is available on the River Deveron at Marnoch.
